I don't have "New Morning" but I am listening Biograph.
He speaks of red rose.

Yes
"Like the red rose of summer that blooms in the day,
Time passes slowly and fades away. "
Outside our library across the street there were roses growing in the middle of the winter.

Sandrine, you are a Pharisee.
To be a Pharisee must be a great thing then?

I don't think it's ever been performed live, on stage, or publicly.

From a Christian's mouth, calling someone a Pharisee is an insult.
oh well I didn't know that...or mybe I knew but you know there must have been nice good pharisees back then too. Jesus had some problems with them and I guess he cursed one or two out ehh...that was just his style so just becaus of him they got a bad reputation?
This is just my personal reflextions and nothing to take very serious........lol

To insult people is not a very Christian act in my book?

I ain't got a Christian mouth..... my philosophy is to stand and find the middle of things.
I'm a spiritual child of the Renaissance Humanism.
One role of Petrarch is as the founder of a new method of scholarship, Renaissance Humanism. Humanism was an optimistic philosophy that saw man as a rational and sentient being, with the ability to decide and think for himself. This was an implicit rejection of the Roman Catholic Church's vision of souls as the only absolute reality, which was then seen as mystical and imaginary. Humanism saw man as inherently good by nature, which was in tension with the Christian view of man as the original sinner needing redemption. It provoked fresh insight into the nature of reality, questioning beyond God and spirituality, and provided for knowledge about history beyond Christian history.
The only script I consider is worth beliving in is the 'Oration on the Dignity of Man' by Giovanni Pico della Mirandola.
The insult comes from that NY troll and her french sister performing that stageshow called 'Pretense Stupidity'.
And yeah would you believe a renaissance humanistic child is able to marry a radical Christian but from my experience many of his Christianity is just pretend.
Why the name calling?
I think it says in the rules to join in here that namecalling is not allowed?

yeah, but we don't ban or censor. Instead we publicly call them on their behavior, and I guess I really should start that spanking thread. Although I think some of them actually like a good spanking, followed by a good rogering, with some spanking during the rogering. Hmmm, imagine that.

It means to have to watch endless episodes of The Saint, starring Roger Moore (great name for James Bond actor too), as shown most days in the morning on ITV 4...
I just LOVE that theme too....

George Sanders Was, Is and Always will be The Saint!
I read the lyrics of "Time Passes Slowly" in a class before I heard it sung (actually, this was before I was familiar with Dylan)...someone thought my reading sounded a bit like how Dylan sung the song... I was compared to this person..so I listened to the song sung..and decided to buy a few Cd's...

Rogering is very similar to being buggered, except a "rogering" usually entails the insertion up the offending bottom with a kitchen or lavatory implement hence the expression
"Well Roger me with a toothbrush!"
