I read some magazines sometimes and I do not feel too bad about it when I think about it a little more.....
it says in all the magazines now that Brangelina split up and that Brad is back with Jennifer Aniston? It is almost impossible to avoid seeing it??????????
Are there more people than me who finds it a bit difficult to follow all this?
I personally find it a bit hard to keep track of.......especially so called Celebs?
I don't think women should have to feel worse reading a bit about celebrities than men should have to feel bad to read porno now and then? But I might be wrong?
I used to call those mags for "women's porno"

i' m not fond of gossip, it seems to fill some peoples lives,
But the facts of life like people breaking up or people having kids is that also gossip? I think it is just facts? The fact that Tiger Woods was with other women lead to problems Yeah it is not nice that everybody has to read about it and what I hate about a lot of the gossip is that some of that suff should be kept away from the public. A person that choses to go into a rehab should be protected by the rehab from the outside world. I think there are different grades of "gossip" and if people never gossiped we wouldn't even know who's still alive and who just died? So I don't agree with thinman for example that you can reject the whole idea of so called gossip. Gossip doesn't nessecarily have to be nasty in my book, but I must admit that a big procent of all the gossip going around probably isn't so nice. I really try not to speak vile of other people because that's not how I was brought up, but I do buy People sometimes or other magazines. And thinman likes the naked pictures of lazyslut and that is an other form of not so dignified stuff that fills a void in some peoples lives? Plese correct me if I am wrong?
Reading about celebs keeps my mind off stuff like Haiti for example...stuff that can really get you depressed...it's easy reading...
Before........long time ago..gossip had a function in the society. People told eachother the latest news...Mr Anderson painted his guesthouse blue....or Mrs Anderson was sick and in bed with the flue. I read a book about it a long time ago. lol
Mavis Staples said that Bob Dylan proposed to her and that she said no.
Well everybody knows that Bob had plenty of romances and Mavis Staples was one of his many lovers.
She talks herself warm about him so shy did she say no? I would like to find out the truth? It makes so little sense if any?
Then this woman Susan Ross. She claims Bob Dylan was her lover for 12 years??? OMG that's a long time. She also claims that he promised to marry her.
I don't think it is so strange that fans wonder about this kind of stuff?
So there are many many women that claims Bob Dylan wanted to marry them and I just wonder about it?
It seems as if quite a few of these women got their hearts broken and I am mostly thinking about Joan Baez who openly sings about how much she loved him and that she'll never marry again because she only loves Bob.
It is going to be very interesting to see if he ever makes up his mind and whether he is going to try marriage one more time or if he gave up like so many others did?
Relationships are not easy. You have to put in a lot and GIVE OF YOURSELF to make it work? It is not enough with just a pretty face and a beautiful body is it? Maybe to some. I have no idea. I'm a loser in love. I always was and always will be.

Do not say that and then expect people not wonder and talk about it? Of course they are gonna talk about it.

here in Italy there are numerous magazines dedicated to the gossip world of celebs.
it has created this world of paparazzi, (who are the scum of the earth for me), privacy seems to have gone out the window, now armed with their super phallic lenses they can pry into the lives , from miles away!!, I find it disgusting

I don't buy these magazines.
I don't know the law concerning the paparazzi here.
This is gossip ok:
Ron Woods is in rehab for the 8th time. He has to clean up his act in order to remain in the band.
This is what I mean when I say I follow the gossip. It is more like news uhh?
Ron can use some prayers too. Alcohol is a devil hard to beat.
OYYYYYYyyyyyYYYyyy now that Brangelina seems to be an item again.....Gee.....I hope Luna can make this thread go up in air...ha ha ha

I just want to say something...
If a person starts to act up real weird...then I look for a REASON to this weird behaior and maybe the person can be excused?
But I guess there is no explanation at all for weird behavior sometimes?

Definitely a case of 'something is happening here but you dont know what it is...'
I took somebody to the rehab dept in a hospital today. She wanted to check it out because she is going to have surgery soon. I used to work there about 3 years ago and I hadn't seen the people since then.
The hospital provided an introductioncourse and they said it was very likely that they were going to employ one more for the rehab. So after the course I worked at the rehab for a while. Then the admin. decided they could not afford to employ one more (even though the girls on the floor are overworked big time) so they placed me in the long time care. Oh boy did I break my back there...almost immediately. The money I made working there went to my chiropractor...

I think most people become carers at some time of their lives...at the moment I spend a lot of time planning the care of my mum...and I teach kids with special educational needs full time...
The lady I brought over is very set in her ways and can be quite demanding without a doubt. My former boss took her around the place and showed her the rooms and I was just taken how professional she was and how quickly she was able to answer so many questions. The nurse in charge was running the place in such impeccable way. I know some of the CNAs are rather burnt out though. The hospital in general is so overloaded and understaffed. If only the hospital would employ one or two more girls on the floor like she wanted to, it would be such a great place to work at, but they want to save money. So they save money over the little guy's back.
I knew I could recommend this rehab in a heartbeat though and that everybody that is lucky to get in there after surgery get the top care they need. I miss not working there no more.
Because our reward was when we could help somebody and see them go home smiling and sometimes they were very emotional before leaving...unstaffed and all....:)
I am jobhunting....lol so I have been writing letters to potential future employers so my back hurts...ha ha ha
It is much more fun to read about sucessful people....lol
Olive tree....hmm Angelina paid a fortune to get a very old olive tree to Brad for Valentine. I wonder what she had done to him? lol

Me, for my 40, I have always said that I wanted to make love in (on ?) a tree.
I donno her age but this olive tree is 200 years old and symbolizes long life and this and that....peace, love....I have a "thing" for olive trees too. They are beautiful

This lady Barbara went on a cruise with her hubby to celebrate 25 yrs of happy marriage (or at least they stuck together uh) and she dropped her $300 camera into the Atlantic ocean. She had all her pics on there so she and her hubby wept.
15 months later a fisherman from Spain gets the camera in his net. He discovers that the pictures are still intact though the camera is caputt. He makes contacts and American TV shows some of the pictures. A friend of Barbara sees the pictures and call her up. She got the pictures back!!!

A theif in Brazil got caught cuz he tried to get in to a restaurant through a chimney. But he got stuck so they had to cut off bricks from the mantelpiece to get him out. Hmm he got caught and stuck. I hope the restaurant owner at least gave him something to eat?
He was taken to a hospital afterwards. That was the humane thing to do.
I have something for my cat that I paid a hundred bucks for and she doesn't even use it so I told my girlfriend that she can have it. I said I would like to have something for it but I know you're dirt poor so you can have it. She said I am more than dirt poor I am under the dirt. And then we laughed so hard. Sometimes it is good to laugh about your miserable life? I think most of my life is really laughable ha ha ha ha but it should be moved up to the nothing thread?

You know I try to get her enthusiastic about stuff around her but I failed completely. The only thing that interests her is that she has food in her bowl and she also likes to listen to when the birds come and sit outside the window. Right now she is sleeping on top of the radiator near the window. She looks like a real Diva. She doesn't seem to care about NOTHIN' either?

My heart goes out to Sandra Bullock who found out her hubby was cheating on her through the media. I just feel so bad for her. Such a humiliating way to find out.
I hope she finds happiness and I hope her hubby won't.
Because if you are in a relationship and you don't have the guts to tell your partner that you lost your feelings or that you are sorry but you cheated then you don't deserve to be happy with anybody.

Hopper's wife treid to kill him and stole all his expensive artwork and paintings..........some men knows how to pick them ehhh? Jesus Christ have mercy on us all, but how could you even bother with horrible people like that? I hope she gets what she deserves. What a mean mean wife?
