i believe we exist before and after physical life.

i believe we choose when and where and how we are born.

i believe each life we choose to have includes certain parameters, such as various skills and limitations, and certain areas of desired exploration that could be referred to as "lessons" but I prefer the term "areas to be studied and examined."

i do not believe in the idea of "karma" as a form of punishment for poorly lived lives. i see karma as a method of creating balances, and covering all the bases. Perhaps in one life you live poor, rich in another, varying finances in another, and maybe as a financial advisor in another, as a way of examining various areas of the same theme.

i believe we could live more than one live in the same time era... perhaps being a 7 year old chinese girl, a 56 year old astrologer in nyc and a 35 year old finnish architect simultaneously.

i also believe time does not exist, so "past lives" are really all simultaneously, and if your current life is here in the 21st century, your "next" life might be in the 15th century or the 28th century. Ergo, every decision you make in any life echoes out into all your other lives. You can improve your "past" lives this way...

as a pantheist, i believe we are all "god." "God" does not exist as a separate entity, but is all of the universe. The universe is one thing. We are all, metaphorically, cells in the body of"god," so to speak.

"God" or "all of us" or even better, All That Is, wants us to be creative and joyful and open.

We still have work to do in that area.

I would dispute little that you say, though I have little experience of life before birth. As a Christian, I believe that Jesus is both fully God and fully man. So I have no problem with the concept of a divine humanity...but as a future rather than present reality.

The idea that I might be three people living at the same in different parts of the world is fascinating. Just wondering where you came across this idea.

I am a big big fan of the teachings in The Seth Material.

Seth was an allegedly channeled entity that spoke through a woman named Jane Roberts. Besides having sessions with Seth, Seth also dictated a number of books, word for word, indicating punctuation, chapter headings, etc., that were published verbatim.

I have been studying these books regularly since the early 80s, and in August 20th I will be lecturing on the topic.

Seth makes some interesting comments about the Christ Consciousness. He says that the entity that incarnated as Jesus Christ was so evolved that it incarnated as three people at the same time: John the Baptist, Jesus Christ & St. Paul were the same "soul." He (Seth) also says that Paul fumbled the ball. Christianity was supposed to be so much more than what it ended up being, and that many offshoots of Christianity were historically wiped out.

Here is the wikipedia bio:

if you are at all interested in the Seth books, I suggest the following, in order of publication dates...
• Seth Speaks: The Eternal Validity of the Soul
• The Nature of Personal Reality
• The Nature of the Psyche: Its Human Expression
• The Individual and The Nature of Mass Events

There are other books but these are probably the most accessible as a starting point.

I cant agree your second & third paragraphs at all or the 5th,in fact, sorry, but most of it - I can see the sense in Epigenetics eventually reproducing characteristics and personalities and looks from previous generations, so that theres a sort of re-birth by proxy, - but not the above, takes all kinds I suppose
