bootlegs or "BOOTLEGS"??? You know what I mean, how many concerts has he done? how many songs has he sung,? this is an impossible question because, by definition, it cannot be accurate in any sort of objective sense

I like Wolfsburg 1997, his first concert back [ I think ] after the heart scare, it really rocks and he gives a very nice audience mention to Alan Lomax prior to a fantastic H61

Landys ghost
02-12-2011, 06:05 AM
why go alone? wont your husband go with you?
Sandrine
02-13-2011, 04:28 AM

Ah right! so it's your husband that prevents you from seeing Bob Dylan in concert unless Dylan just happens to play at a venue your husband approves of you going to...duw duw!! and he refuses to go along with you because he doesnt like Dylans work. My wife comes with me sometimes, we make a day of it,and she's not a great fan, but she hasnt ever tried stopping me going to a performance either on my own or with friends. Now theres an idea, go along with friends, theres much less chance of you being abducted then , or whatever it is your husband objects to about you going outside of Metz.

I love his approach to the way he re-appraises and alters his approach to writing lyrics on these songs, like he's gone out and changed his entire wardrobe before finding the new style, which he hones and perfects for JWH,and that then previews the Country of Nashville Skyline.Of course these are pre '74 songs

You are going to laugh but my friends don't like his songs, sung by him.

Oh ...look Sandrine , we've been Dylan fans for nearly 50 years , your not telling us anything new --- do you comprende? weve had these "boots" before Sony released them!!! c'mon wise up!!!
Sandrine
02-18-2011, 06:08 PM
I am not 50 years. So, I don't see how I could be fan nearly 50 years.
Of course, I am not telling you anything new because I have less and less things to say (even the albums I listen to).
So, no lyrics because everybody knows (and can see) his lyrics everywhere.
no song (official or not) on youtube because everybody can find them when there are some songs of him/
So, we speak about what ?
I am not musician. Why don' the members who are musicians here speak of his melody, harmony....? Nobody here plays harmonica ?

He sent me my first ever Dylan boots, back in the time of BD.com. He didn't want anything, he just heard that I didn't have any Dylan boots and sent me some classics, which I still have. Damn nice guy.
