Insomnia and tremors.
Some users feel paranoid or anxious while under influence.
Overdose is really not an issue with LSD but it is possible to harm yourself because of irrational thoughts that may arise from using the drug. Some people think they can fly and actually act on that thought.
There is no glamor or benefit to gain from experimenting with drugs. It is a killer. Do not let yourself be fooled into thinking that drugs are cool because they are not cool at all and it is not a smart thing to do drugs.
It killed a lot of people.

It is only harmful to the body so it is nothing you are missing. lol I feel so much healthier after I quit. I do not have to cough up flem any more and no more cough.
It has only advantages to quit.

I do not understand how intelligent people want to do drugs. I will never understand it. And if the Beatles say I should take drugs I say they can do it if they want but for me it is so wrong. I do not want to have anything to do with it.

Isis... blanket statements about illegal drug use aren't really fair. Many people have used drugs for fun and had no problems. It's like alcohol. Some people can enjoy it and be ok, others become alcoholics. Some drugs, like meth & heroin should be avoided.
I used to know a young girl and she took LSD and threw herself in front of a train. She was a promising artist. The family made a movie about her and her art.

Agneta Gejer is dead. She is never going to come back. She lived a few blocks away from me when I grew up. The family made a movie of her art later on. She died due to LSD.

I am sorry about this artist you refer to who died so young due to her reactions to LSD, but that does not mean all people respond the same way. Some people die from vaccinations, even though they may work for 99% of the population. Should we ban all vaccinations?
You can not compare travelling by car or taking drugs. Or vaccinations. To compare this kind of stuff just makes it even more confusing.
Timothy Leary was a spokesman for LSD He promoted it. I know more stories of people that tried LSD once or twice and thought they were going to die. This is dangerous and crazy stuff to me. Your mind is a very fragile thing and it can break easily.If young people like my friend didn't know about LSD or was never offered it they wouldn't get themselves into these situations of despair.
There is no garantee at all when you take LSD that you will have a pleasant experience. You do not know beforehand how you are going to react? Some people are really getting very harmed by taking it so why take a chance? Every human beeing can go what we call "insane" and sometimes it doesn't take more than an overdose. Drugs that gives you hallicinations can cause states of insanity and you can do things you wouldn't have done in a non toxic state (without the PCB or the LSD) Why play Russian Roulette with yourself?
Nobody has to take LSD if they do not want to, but you have to get into a car and drive some place.
People that want to take drugs can do that. But please do not promote it to others.
I am so sorry but I do not think this discussion is going anywhere. For somebody like me who is working with small children it is unthinkable to tell them it's ok to experiment with drugs. You want to teach them the harmful sides of this. I rather see people keeping their minds clear, without the influence of drugs.
I do not want to talk about it any more, because I feel I just bang my head against the wall. You love it and I am not going to take your nuckie away from you ok? BUt maybe one day you will have a bad experience from it and then maybe you would think to yourself and wonder if it was worth experimenting with. I hope not. I do not think they would be good for me and I have so many health issues to deal with that I have my hands full trying to stay alive anyway.
I loved Janis Joplin dearly but she wasn't smart to take drugs and if she was sitting here by my side right now I am sure she could sign my posts with her tears and blood.
Imagine what she couldn't have done and couldn't have been if not for heroine and other drugs? Just IMAGINE.

I think no one should drink or do recreational drugs until they are 21, 22... the body is still growing... and I don't think "everyone" should do drugs...
I am not trying to change your mind... just offering you a different view... some people like and survive drugs... some people don't do any drugs or alcohol... some people have trouble with them... and I think everyone should make their own decisions... so I am against banning... I promote education...

I hear they are giving out condoms to 12 year olds now. So I guess they do get educated when it comes to sex these days? I don't know what I would have thought as a 12 year old going to school and the teacher gave us condoms...?

I just want to go on with my life, mind my own business and these kind of discussions doesn't really interest me that much especially cuz I can not change a damm thing.

I think it is basically the parents duty to educate their children.
I was so upset 30 years ago when kids I know was renting films with titles like "the devil's massacre" and so on. I tried to protest but to no avail...it's money that rules.

That sounds like an excellent idea. Nobody should be able to refuse...........Nobody should be allowed to say anything negative about taking drugs either. There should be no warnings. You should be severly punished if you had the guts to do that.
